Thanks for visiting this self-help forum. This is the 3rd or 4th posted thread and I'm really excited about the possibilities this forum provides everyone that gets involved.
I started this forum yesterday so I could write about the effort it takes to really change a life. Currently, I am a patient at the San Francisco Nursing Center.
I was admitted to this facility after almost losing my right leg to an infection. My foot became infected after I attempted to inject morphine to get high. To be honest, I'm not sure if that's what occurred.
Most of the week preceding the injury I was extremely intoxicated so I don't know for certain what happened to me. But that's not new either.
I am a lifelong drug addict. I was 11 or 12 years of age when I first consumed alcohol and I was 12 when I began smoking cigarettes and marijuana so I've been around the block more than a yellow taxi.
